I’m attending classes to obtain my GRI Real Estate designation. What’s a GRI designation you ask? GRI stands for Graduate, REALTOR Institute. OK you think, what does that mean?
To me, getting my GRI means I am more educated than many Real Estate Agents you meet. Sure you have to take a class and pass a state exam to obtain your license, but did you know that makes you “minimally qualified to practice Real Estate”. I don’t know about you, but I would like someone who is more than minimally qualified to assist me with one of the largest financial decisions of my life.
Classes are broken up into a series of three modules spanning about 90 hours. Students are tested after every module to ensure they are learning the material, not just hanging out taking up space.
Completing my GRI classes shows I take my job seriously and I am committed to my industry and my clients. Being a REALTOR full time is important to me, and doing the best job I can is imperative. I am driven to do my best for you.
My next module, the 300 series, is in October and I can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted and let you know when I pass!
